The 2026 Annual Westside Mayors Forum

  • Helms Design Center 8745 Washington Boulevard Culver City, CA, 90232 United States (map)

Join us for our Annual Westside Mayors Forum, where the mayors of our four vibrant Westside communities come together for a candid conversation about their land use priorities and the challenges shaping their cities in 2026.

This year's forum will spotlight how our cities are tackling some of the most pressing issues of our time, including:

  • Navigating shifting state and federal policies and their impact on sanctuary city policies, social and racial equity, and local land use decisions;

  • Advancing sustainability through innovative approaches to emissions reduction, mobility, and stormwater management;

  • Reimagining vacant office and retail spaces to meet immediate market needs while planning for future economic vitality;

  • Responding to demographic changes, affordability pressures, and disaster recovery needs to support our surrounding communities;

  • Preparing for the global spotlight with major events like the 2026 FIFA World Cup and the 2028 Olympics;

  • Addressing homelessness and expanding access to safe, affordable housing and mental health services;

  • Upgrading critical infrastructure to support growth and resilience; and

  • Collaborating with state lawmakers on policies affecting housing, water, infrastructure, and disaster preparedness.

  • Examining the local impacts of SB 79 and related state housing legislation

Don't miss this opportunity to hear directly from our mayors about the strategies being employed as they lead their cities through a time of rapid change. Enjoy breakfast and connect with fellow community members on March 5th.

Be part of the conversation that's shaping the future of the Westside! RSVP required.
